15" rims to replace original 14" rims??

Thank you, good sir. Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and to each his own. I remember that my best friend thought my girlfriend was ugly as sin, but unfortunately for me, some other guys were not of the same opinion. Now to me, the plain factory wheels painted black, rather...

15" rims to replace original 14" rims??

Greetings all, I hope this is a relevant forum to post my question. I could not find previous threads that dealt with this matter, anywhere on this site. I have 14" rims on my 69 RR, and cannot find suitable tires for it anywhere in the universe. Therefore I am wanting to replace them with...

Howdy all, I just got a '69 RoadRunner---my first attempt at restoration

At first, I thought I would paint it a different color, like green, actually, but the bronze has grown on me, and I am now quite happy with it. Think I will not restore the original vinyl top though.

Howdy all, I just got a '69 RoadRunner---my first attempt at restoration

Thanks for the welcome. Wish the paint was in nicer condition, and I would then leave it alone. Feel compelled to repaint it T5.

Howdy all, I just got a '69 RoadRunner---my first attempt at restoration

Thanks for asking. Keep in mind that this is my very first attempt at restoration. I have obtained a few parts, and have found out about the cost of new upholstery, the approximate cost to rebuild the engine, etc, and I have put a lot of thought into the project, and it has all been very...

Howdy all, I just got a '69 RoadRunner---my first attempt at restoration

Hmmmm.....I was kinda hoping that mine was the only one with 2 tags in the history of Mopar, but thanks for setting me straight on that. : ) Photos of fender tags I saw on the Internet all showed only one tag. Thank you again.

Good idea about tracing paper and soft lead. That technology had not occurred to me. Thanks for that link, too. Hope that build sheet is waiting for me!

Howdy all, I just got a '69 RoadRunner---my first attempt at restoration

Thanks! This car should keep me out of trouble for a while, since it needs so much work, but I am hoping to finish it fast. Little desire (and no money) to make it cherry, but I aspire to make it very decent, like how it might have looked when it was only 10 or 15 years old. Here's a photo...

Howdy all, I just got a '69 RoadRunner---my first attempt at restoration

So check it out folks,--- I have never restored any kind of a car, but a few months ago I was pondering what vehicle I would like to restore if I ever did, and settled on a '69 Roadrunner,---not that I had a penny saved up or anything, just kind of daydreaming I guess. Well, lo and behold, a...
