Totally unacceptable specially from one who claims to have been in the biz for 40+ years. Maybe that's the kind of work they're used to throwing out there, I wouldn't be surprised.
Heck I can throw down paint in my garage without getting fish eyes, that's just contaminants either in the lines...
I'm actually going to have Scott rebuild mine too but he didn't have one readily available. I did find one from Carbs.us out of Atlanta after calling several places. That booger cost me $30 large..lol

I've been searching for this choke pull off rod for my carter avs carb. About to have rebuilt and I'm missing this rod. Been searching all over and can't seem to locate anyone that has or reproduces...wonder why.
Does anyone know of a carb rebuilder that might have one for sale?

Here she is. Was a one owner out of Pa. with 46K miles, Auto 440-4. I've had for just over a year now. Wish I had better picks but just after getting her home I put her in the garage and started tearing a few things up, back to original.

What's the correct factory lug nut size for a '70 RR with rallye wheels ? Was it 1" or 1-1/4" in length.
I know they were 1/2 x-20 x 3/4 hex

Hey all, new from the sunshine state.
Current owner of a one owner (now 2nd) '70 RR Sbird. Member of a couple other forums and wanted to "spread my wings" onto here. Never can get enough info from just one source.
