trick is heating the hell out of them so the ball joint thread doesn't strip and the bushing holes can get damaged easy too, I've learned that the hard way.

used to not be a big fan of them but they have grown on me recently, I like the sandblasted look on early to mid sixties cars and the polished ones on late sixties cars anyhow the magnums are nice but they have been on the car since the early eighties and it's time for something different.

I just took some of my ragtop in the snow a week ago, I switched out my crusty magnums for a set of polished torque-thrust I got reasonable on craigslist

I know C1 and C2 vettes resto-modded go for big bucks, but my Dad pointed out a funny thing about it, todays resto-mod in ten or twenty years maybe way obsolete to the point of having to be reupgraded again to pull big money because they will be a snapshot of the time they were built in. But...
