I need a lower dash pad with the a/c bezel

I'm converting my brother-in-law's 69 runner from non a/c to a/c and need the lower dash pad with the a/c vent. I could also use the outer a/c vents as well. If you have any of this stuff that you would consider selling, please e-mail me at hotrodcuda98@hotmail.com. Thanks

The never ending battle of Blue versus Green...

Code UU1 is Frost Blue Met on Plymouths and Light Blue Met on Dodges. It's a little more silvery than B5. I'm still kind of shocked at how much I liked the color once I finally saw it in person. I was going to paint my 68 Orange, but I've totally changed my mind now. Would be a shame not to...

The never ending battle of Blue versus Green...

My 69 is B5 and my 68 is UU1 Frost blue Met. Does anyone have any pics of a Frost Blue 68 Coupe? I saw one at a show last weekend and like an idiot, I forgot to take any pics of it. Someone painted my 68 a much darker blue once upon a time and now that I've seen what it would look like, I want...

    hotrod98's B5 runner

We don't take any of our cars to the Nats. Too busy buying parts and checking out everyone else's cars. We've taken them to Branson a few times, but mostly local and regional shows. We just drove both of them to a Mopar show in Centerville, AR Sunday.

Looks good. I like white runners.

    hotrod98's B5 runner

Here's a recent pic of my winged runner. I put the wing decals on a few weeks ago. They make the wing look a little less plain.

    Lost part

Plymouths and Coronets are definitley different. Been there...done that. I've always called it a bumper filler. It can make a big difference in how hot the car runs. Without it the hot air circulates around the bottom of the radiator and core support and right back through. I've seen a lot of...

Finally got some paint on the 69 A12 clone

The black cars do tend to show dust a little more than most colors. I'm going to paint my 70 Barracuda flat black just to see how I like it. It's going to be a low buck car built using all of the old stuff that I have lying around here. I have enough stuff to build an entire car. Should make a...

A scare from my Cuda today!

I had the throttle stick wide open on my Super Comp dragster about four years ago. The pedal has the safety piece that hangs out to pull it back up in case the spring breaks, etc. It wouldn't budge. Seems the pedal stop went through one of the holes in the pedal and it wasn't coming back out...

D day- back where the Bird is stored on Thursday!

Would love to see more pics of your car. I rebuilt the 383 in my 69 runner last year and it kept leaking coolant at the passenger side, rear exhaust bolt. After a couple of failed attempts at stopping the leak, I finally coated the bolt with that two part J-B weld type stuff and it worked...for now.

Finally got some paint on the 69 A12 clone

Thanks for the compliments. I really hate painting black cars, yet I painted my Daytona clone black and I'm planning to paint my 70 Barracuda black. The bodies have to be rediculously straight to paint them black since they show every blemish. The original plan was to paint the car hemi orange...

Finally got some paint on the 69 A12 clone

This is the 69 Runner that I'm building for my brother-in-law. It was originally a 383 4-speed car. I replaced the trunk floor, tail panel, left quarter and dutchman panel. It's going to be black with black leather interior with a modified pistol grip, six pack hood, line lock and modern a/c...

    Car electrical behaving badly

I feel bad about hijacking this thread. But, here's a pic of the 68. Has rust in the lower quarters and trunk floor. A small amount of rust at one corner of the back glass and a small area in the front passenger floor in the left passenger footwell area. The rest of the car is as solid as a...

    Car electrical behaving badly

I found this pic over on moparts...I think. It's supposedly a real A12 car. There have been many winged 69's before mine.

    Car electrical behaving badly

This is the only one that I have so far. I keep forgetting to get the camera from the back shop. The lettering is actually black. Just looks white when the flash hits it since it's reflective. I would like to remove the word "Superbird" and replace it with "Road Runner" or "Plymouth".

    Car electrical behaving badly

Thanks guys. I've been extrememly busy and only jump on here to check out what everyone's up to once in a while. I'm starting the paint process on this black 69 runner that I've been working on and it's a mental game just making myself work on it. I love the looks of black cars, but I hate...

    Car electrical behaving badly

Personally, I think that if the factory had used dielectric grease from the beginning, we would have a lot less electrical problems. Of course it wouldn't have helped solve all of the problems, like Amp gauges burning out, ground wire corrosion and cheap plastic coating on the wiring. :D

    Car electrical behaving badly

I use dielectric grease which is nonconductive on all terminals and sockets. Some experts will tell you not to do this because it doesn't help conductivity, but other experts claim that the contact points will push the grease out of the way and then the dielectric grease will serve to shield the...

my daytona replica before and after

Rene, are those the original wing braces that you had or the ones that I made? Just curious. I test fitted the daytona wing braces on the 69 runner with the superbird wing and I had to modify them just a little, but they're going to work just fine. Thank goodness. Here'a pic of how we modify...
