    who"s a man

Unfortunately, we ragtop owners have no choice. They all were power. But the fact that I have NO top - combined with no air conditioning, no power steering, no power brakes, no light packages/map lights (used mostly for application of makeup or fixing hair) - essentially confirms my extreme...

Which is better: 4spd or 3spd?

Grannymatic! lol! I do agree with your statement about Ronnie Sox. Also, it does seem to me most of the old-timers I know (guys around when these cars were new or reasonable "used cars") prefer banging their own gears as well. Personally speaking, an A12 car - an old school, bare-bones...

Which is better: 4spd or 3spd?

These 4-speed vs. automatic questions seem to come up pretty often on some other boards. Is a 4-speed better than an automatic? The answer really depends on the vehicle and it's intended purpose. My Road Runner is a weekend recreational ride, and the 4-speed makes for FUN driving. How can you...

    Bench seat issue

I also had the same issue and wanted to add them to my '69 Runner (if not for safety, then for the looks). If not for my December '68 build date, the car would have them right from St. Louis. But as I discovered, the original front bench already came complete with everything under the upholstery...

Hello, new member with old Road Runner here.

Actually, my car was caught outside my parent's house in Washington Twp. and then somehow wound up on the carsinbarns website. So, it does have some notoriety, lol. Here it is under wraps in the street: Since then, I've bought a house with a garage so that is where the car sleeps these days.

Hello, new member with old Road Runner here.

Thanks, everyone for the warm welcomes. I suppose I have to dig up a few pictures for you guys. I will jump in every now and again, I'm just not super active on the computer. McMopar - not really too nice yet, but it's a work in progress. My aim is a nice driver or fun weekend cruiser. I live...

Hello, new member with old Road Runner here.

Hello everyone...new to the board, came over from Moparts (can I say that here?). My name is Scott and I live in southern New Jersey. I have owned my project Road Runner since 1996 (I was 21 at the time!). Past Mopars I've owned include a '69 Dodge Polara 500 383-2 convertible and a '78 Magnum...
