1970 383 Roadrunner

General Description

My father parked two 1970 Roadrunners in 1979. One was meant to be a parts car, the other my Grandmother bought brand new in '70. My dad bought her a Cordoba in '79, then parked her car along with the parts car with the intention of restoring her Roadrunner. They sat on her property until September 2013, when my cousin took over ownership of the property. After 34 years, both cars sank into the soil and the rims rotted. We got some cheap Jeep rims for my car and put the original steelies on my Grandmother's car, which goes to my brother. We took both cars to my parents property where we prepped my car to trailer to Augusta. We started checking numbers and discovered that my car was numbers matching, making my old man thankful he never stripped it for parts. Although she suffered some theft, my Roadrunner is mostly complete. There is some major body work needed, which I have begun. Floorpans need replaced. Several parts need to be replaced in the engine bay, along with new wiring harnesses. And so the project begins.
