My shifter sticks out sideways just behind the steering wheel.

Bring your whole car over and I'll take care of that for you too........ :lmao:

How about mine? It's already on the floor between the seats, but it only moves in a straight line! Forward, or back!

Good luck on the shifter ball. The outfit that had the tooling sent it to China over a year ago and it got lost. I don't know if anyone has started repopping them since, this would be the wood grain ball.

2 years ago I bought a wood grain ball from year one. The thread size is different compared to the new Comp. Plus shifters. That's another reason I wanted an original shifter.

So that's what happened... Not that it matters, but I'm curious as to how you found this out..

Hey Dobie, here's one you need to check out...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... &viewitem=

I have this listed as a saved search on My Ebay so every time one gets listed I get a notification...you might want to do the same until you score one...

BTW, seller advises me that mine was shipped on Friday; I'm getting anxious...
