ive seen much rougher cars get saved, looks like a good project. too bad I am on the other ide of the world - gets me every time!

What do you think it would cost to ship one over from the states RKNRLR. Do you have to pay import fee's or duty fee's.

Depends on how carefully you want it shipped, lone car in container, multi-car container etc. Customs entry fee, import fee, and 10% tax on all items brought in over $1000 value.
That makes a decent slant 6 duster I'd buy for $6-8000 stateside close to $12-15- pop landed here. Really makes it hard

I mostly see guys with the cash bringing in several cars, maybe up to 10, at a time. the shared cost of the shipping spread over so many cars helps alot.

But first you have to buy 10 cars.

When the Aussie dollar was alot stronger, cars were coming in thick and fast. Now the exchange rate has really slowed down alot of imports. Since the closure of all local manufacturing, they are trying to make it easier to get new cars over here and complied. Not real hard, but theyre trying.

Yes that is government for ya. All they care about is the bottom line. Keep up the work on that runner and keep us posted. :thumbsup2:
