i bought the car in the spring from its third owner.....some lady bought it brand new from brookln ny...she got too old to drive and it was stored many years in the back of this big indoor garage...i have her paper work when she bought it......
1972 dodge dart swinger...225 slant 6.....automatic......factory ac...am radio[not working]....power steering....no power brakes....rear defroster..map light....turn signals lites on top of fenders,one lite out]..47,000 original miles.....2 door hardtop....green with black vinyl roof, no rips,looks good [some small bubbles under vinyl on lower drivers side back].....body[ no rust at all.even under doors and nothing under body...amazing...shopping cart dings and small dents....original paint,buffed out nice
second owner...did....new brake lines all the way around....new brake hoses...new, looks like after market 4 piston disc brakes in front using stock spindles with new upper and lower ball joints....new tie rods......he did new upper control a-arms and bushings[i guess he couldnt get old bushings out so he replaced them......new master cylinder..new firehawk indy 500 tires with rally wheels and trim rings..i did new rear wheel cylinders/new wagner brake shoes,also new front shocks,new voltage regulator,coil,ballast resistor,points and condensor,new dip stick,oil change/filter/air filter
interior....black vinyl,front bench....not a rip ......looks great,head liner perfect,rugs look like new,dash looks awesome
only problem is i went to change intake/exhaust manifold gasket and noticed 2 cracks in exhaust manifold...fuel gauge not working and dome lite out[must be door switch]..also bought a new exhaust pipe to muffler but didnt change it when i saw that
starts right up,drives great......price $6000 obo.....SOLD....SOLD....SOLD
