will a 1977 318 fit in a 1969 b-body that has a 318 in it now? I was told it mite not fit!

yes it will fit. a 318 is a 318.the only difference I can think of is if the other engine is from a truck and the oil pan may be different.

Whoever told you that may need a serious thumpin! Even the 92 and up 318 and 360 magnums are supposed to be bolt in, except for exhaust and add-ons like A/C. Ditto on the pan. Just FYI, that is what I have for a car.
