I noticed that too. You always get a slightly different vantage point from the A12 guys that have to hunt this crap down...

ACME "Where's my solenoid?" A12

If it had the A12 base to air cleaner it would be more interesting

Stuart.. Yea, the float bowl vent is a give away that its a 71. Look at the numbers on the air horn to be sure.

I bought the correct style from Six Pack Perf in New Mexico last year. It doesn't have the numbers stamped in it, but it was the correct style. I don't remember paying $200... But it wasn't cheap.

i was told my center carb is a 71 ? anyone know for sure how i can tell ? and what the outers are ?
Stuart, according to the Dodge and Plymouth Muscle Car Red Book I have, lists these numbers for a 440 six pack. Holly, R4671A/front all, R4669A/center manual, R4670A/center auto. R4672A/rear all. These numbers are listed under Challenger, GTX, and Roadrunner. Hope this helps.

Yeah, it's always nice to know some of the history of our rides. Do any of your carbs have those numbers?
