Just to add to Bobs post the 215 fan is used on Hemis and 18" the 216 fan is 18 1/2" is more common and repopped if you want a new one. What sort of an 8-blade fan? I've found the pitch is more important than the blade count. I had an overheating 360 with a 7 blade fan, everything and I mean everything new, down to trying to improve the water pump ratio with a different pully. I thought that 7-blade fan meant it was good to go, but it turned out that it was actually from a /6, built to have high blade count but a lot less pitch. IIRC it was like changing from 1" to 3". No more overheating. It's worth looking into.
FWIW the 7-blade /6 fan is 2863 200, the 7-blade HP fan is 2863 215.
I had similar issue with my 440 a few months age. I put a new radiator, thermostat, waterpump and it wanted to heat up. I suggest you check the water pump rotation. .. might sound like a stupid response but there are clockwise and counter clockwise rotating pumps. The picture showing the fins, the one on the left the rotation is for clockwise rotation the right is counter clockwise rotation. Remember the pictures are from the block side of the pump. The fins need to push the water outward both bolt to the same pump housing and are for different belt configurationsThanks, I think it might be pump, ruled out thermostat, can’t see coolant circulating, top radiator hose very warm, bottom cold.
