?? Open of Closed Valley Pan on a hp440 ???

Thanks Tom C.

closed. is part of the intake gasket and also keeps the valley covered up and not slinging oil all over the engine

Yup what Quick said. Just got one from NAPPA, 21$$.. Now the question is to use or not use fiber gaskets glued to both sides of the pan??

If nothing has been milled no gaskets. Were you talking open or closed heat passage?

Yes beep, milled and decked. Probably leave the passages open, gets a little cold here. I will check manifold fit with and without gasket to get an idea how it sits.

Leave the gaskets if you have an alumunum intake. You may have to crimp the corners of the valley pan down in the front and rear corners if you milled heads and decked the block.
