I've seen some pin location diagrams floating around, but I guess I never saved it. I'm getting ready to drill the hood, so I wonder if some one here has that diagram?

hey Steve, go to page 2 of the tech section, look for the topic "Hood Pins". On page 2 of the topic, Big put up a great pic of the pin location with measurments(And it's off a GREEN car!)
 
no problem, us green guys gotta stick together.
 
Keep in mind that is for a 69 hood. The front fender structure that the pins go through is different on a 68.

I think the change on the fender and hood you are referring to was a mid year thing. I have seen both on 68 cars. The later built 68's are just like the 69's. AMD told me the same thing when I bought the reproduction hood. They say their hood will not fit very early '68 cars for this reason.
 
Yeah, my front pins will be mounted a tad different than 69 cars. I'm actually just gonna drill out the stock hole for the hood bumper. That will be about the closest I can get.
