Thanks! I got lucky when I found this almost rust free one spot in pass. quarter and a little in trunk that's it. Story on this is guy got it in the late 80's and was working on it, he passed away around 03 and it sat in the garage till last year when his Widow finally let it go. One of those crazy stories that it sat 10 miles from my house for almost 30yrs.

Couldn't have been a Michigan car it's whole life or it would be rusted Alot worse.

and my car came from Michigan, only bad spot was the quarters, about 20 pounds of bondo and pop rivets on each side.

I like the b5 blue. You going to keep it that color. Mine was red and rusty. I was so tired of the rust and red decided to paint it b5 blue with a little royal blue metal flake in a color blender. Good to see the boy's working on the car with you. This will help teach them a lot. Maybe they will get the classic cars in their blood too. Like I said keep us up on the progress.

OMG. It is amazing what we find when pealing back the layers on these old cars and find what someone else has done to them. I call that chop shop work. :lol:

That's Petty Blue Under there! It is a 999 paint code car and I'm going to Definitely keep it that color since I think there's only 4 of these known left.

It's crazy what's still lying around there's a 68 Charger sitting in a barn 3 miles away that I've been trying to buy since 01 and the lady won't sell it!
