Yep I almost ordered those and decided to see if I could find originals. I see they have blue also. Is blue what you ordered?

No I am going with a black interior That is what the car had in it I think. So just basic black in side. B5 blue out side with a hint of royal blue flake in the clear coat to make it pop. I can say it is my car amongst the rest of the blue Runner's.

I looked closer at the blue covers and kick panels that Classic Industries is selling and these look like a lighter/brighter blue than mine. Taking my kick panels off and looking at the back of them they are a B7 dark blue color.

Dyeing is my plan if I can't find used ones. Problem with the colored plastic it seems these get chalky over time. Mine aren't right now so I may end up dyeing these. They look good on the back side so I have something to go by shade wise to try to get as close as possible. These, even though not chalky, have faded after almost 50 years.

We all know how plastic fades over time. Freshen them up if original. Sure they are better than the reproduced one's. Think paint or die would be cheaper than buying new one's.

Trick is though finding the correct color shade, or at least something very close to correct. I need to repaint the metal dash areas as well with the dark blue. That all needs freshened up. I've tried 4 different shades to this point and am still not happy with it.

If you have the color code of the dash paint then you should get an automotive paint store to mix it for you. It should be a dull and not shine or like flat.

I have had good results with the interior paint/dye from Herb's Parts. I have used red and green, and both were the perfect color.

Thanks. I'll get online and see if Herbs has the blue available and research the paint # for the interior dash.

The dash paint is a suede finish

Did you thin the Paint Bob. So in painting the inner fire wall and inner hinge pillar post did they use the same as the dash. I got a quart of the dash paint. maybe do my pillar post with it would that be correct.

I got a flat black from my paint store to paint the rest of the inside of the car. Like package tray, fire wall, Hinge pillar's, A pillars. and package tray. Yes I got the lacquer form the California company you mentioned. I want to put something over the Epoxy to seal it. Like on my inner lower cowl area. Well guess it is ok to paint the rest of these items with the flat black. Like the window pillar post.
