'69 Road Runner Fender Emblem

The Chrysler pentastar emblem on the lower left corner of my right fender came loose. I am going to reinstall it with 3M double sided molding tape, but it is black and I suspect the original color wore off. Was the original color silver or gold?

I also note that the left side does not have one. Was there only one from the factory or was it not replaced when the fender was replaced?

Only one is used passenger fender only. Should be Gold.
