I apologize I’m sure there’s a threat out there but I just got this 69 roadrunner. It’s a 3-D 34 speed car and some of the bugs out of it. If I’m having, I filled it up with gas and parked on a hill, gas is leaking out and it’s on the passenger side. It seems to be running down from this is what the Ben hose looks like. I believe it’s coming from one of these. It’s a new tank, but somehow this vent arrangement doesn’t look correct. There is only one vent line. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
Kevin

No that's not correct. Do you have the free service manual download from mymopars.com. you're probably going to need it to order your parts

I don’t I will download it. I take it what I will need since I have the one going to the trunk is the short candycane one I guess my question is what’s that connection on the sending unit that they looped the other vent into

Someone Loop the return to the vent so it's just so it wouldn't leak you're supposed to have the feed line going forward and the return line going backwards back into the tank where that hose is so that you will eliminate vapor lock

The service manual shows you the parts breakdown you're correct it has the loop to go through the trunk and then the Little J or candy cane. And with the new gas it's going to leak from the vent it expands so much if you trying to do anything more than the first click off of the gas handle it will leak

Looks like someone put a 3/8" sending unit in that has an extra port for a return line for Hemi's and 440's. They put a hose from it to one of the vents and the one going into the trunk looks ok. The way its plumbed should work although not correct it leaves one vent, I would try to duplicate the condition and crawl under and look. Also don't top the tank off in these things
