69 RR Original Tachometer Not Working

Any tips to trouble-shoot the wiring ? I took the tach out....and know it's working but not when its connected to the under dash wire....

Do a continuity test on the wire and see what you get. Has to be a break in the sender wire somewhere if tach works elsewhere
