Hi guys ! My name is Tom , I live in northern Vermont which is a beautiful state but unless your into hiking , skiing or snowshoeing there's not a lot going on . So I consider myself very fortunate to have a 69 roadrunner project car in my possession. I use the term project car loosely because she was in pretty good shape over all . I've had many years to think and dream about how this car should look if I was to own one ,and so far she's coming along quite nicely . Please forgive me if my baby is not to your taste or standards ,as this is not a concourse build I just want a trustworthy hot-rod that will turn a few heads and put a smile on my face every time I take her out for a spin . Thanks , Tom.

welcome from Ohio Tom! Is the first pic the way she looks now? If so, beautiful car. On here, we go buy "It's your car, do it to make you happy" I like the Day Two look, others like the factory stock, while some even paint their car blue.....:acme::jester: I'm not a hugh fan of the large wheels, but those look pretty good.
come back often, lots of smart guys here, lots of ball busting, all in good fun.

more pictures

Thanks , The car was originally green and about twelve years ago it was repainted in this metallic sunset red which actually looks pretty good , even after 12 years . The wheels did not come with the car , they are for another project car waiting in the wings , I'll include a few pictures of that car if you like. After the trany , axel , driveshaft and other parts like that were cleaned and primed , a couple coats of bedliner black was applied , pretty tuff stuff , very durable , and looks pretty good as well. I included a few pictures of the actually wheels that will be going on this car , if you didn't like the other wheels you probably wont like these either lol !

'68 Charger! I had one for 18 years. need the details on that one too...:nachos:
and it's not so much the big wheels, it's therubber band tires. But like I said, you're not building your cars to make anyone but you happy.

68 Charger

I hear you , the tires do take some getting used too . I have never restored a car before ,let alone classics like these so its kind of learn as you go , some mistakes will be made that will have to be changed down the road . The Charger was thrown into the deal , kind of a two for one sort of thing . My wife insisted on getting the Charger as well, something about dating a kid in high school that had one ? A couple months ago I got a little sidetracked from the roadrunner project and did a little work on the Charger grill , it needed a little TLC and I needed to take a little break from the roadrunner. It never gets old , there's always something to do . I included a few pictures of the grill.

Tom.

SWEET! , Your Charger looks very familiar ? I'm thinking about going black with mine , they just look so sinister in black . Or at least a dark metallic gun metal gray with black strips .

Wow - that runner and Charger look sweet! Welcome aboard. The new wheels on the bird look pretty good, and that means a lot from a guy who is a Magnum 500/nee Styled Steel Road Wheel fan!

WHAA-HOOO! A fellow North New-Englander with a Mopar! (Even originally a Green one no less)! F3, F5, or F8? (Beat ya to it Basketcase) Ditto on the upper Vermont issue with a Muscle Car being somewhat out of place. As a snowmobile and muscle car nut, I felt I was being chased away just two hours in on a college tour of UVM which my daughter checked into. Gotta admit it was probably a safe place to be though. Looks as though you have some serious time in your projects. Keep up the great work! Very Impressive! Welcome aboard. If you ever drift east with the prevailing winds, stop in and visit in Maine!
