70s street machines

People were sure in love with their cars back then. Everyone had their car personalized. Now a days, you can't tell a Ford from a Toyota as they are going down the road. Thanks for sharing.

So many of those ads really take me back - I was a huge Pro-Trac tire fan as a teenager thanks to the Pro-Trac model in the ad... :lol:

I love all of the wild, custom paint jobs. I have buddy that owns a '69 F85 W31 Ram Rod that still wears its custom robes from the early '70s. Just incredible to see the artistry and detail in the paint jobs of the day. You'd have to mortgage the house to pay for that today, IF you could even find a guy that knew how to do it...

Funny to see all of those Shelbys/Daytonas/Superbirds that today command a King's Ransom in restored condition at a B-J Auction all customized... :basketcase:
