Got a question on the shifting of a 904 trans...... car shifts great 1st to 2nd but seems to take awhile to shift to 3rd! if I'm giving it gas as I'm moving, it takes awhile for it to shift but if I let off the gas it shifts to 3rd......???? is their a vaccum line that causes this to shift or fluid problem? All we did to this car was reseal the intake back on....... got me stumped!:upset: any info would be great!

You probably didn't adjust the trans linkage correctly. Consult your service manual for that procedure.

If you don't have a service manual, http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=109

No vacuum lines to a Mopar trans.

Not true! There is a vacuum line that runs to the passenger side of the trans. It should have manifold vacuum (30 psi).
