I know I've asked before, and I'm 99.9% sure that my 68 doors will work on my 69 vert, as long as I use the glass, trim, etc. from my original 69 doors.

Here is a pic of the 69 doors...

They look the same to me...everyone else?

One last question..
Can this deck lid be saved? It's pretty bad on the outside near the left bottom.
If you remember, I had a nice 68 deck lid but it doesn't work.

The deck lid is toast. The only difference in the doors is the location of the interior lock and I'll bet your going to need the 68 mechanism to go with it.

The deck lid is looking serious, how is the rest of the car? If you can weld good the repair isn't too bad and don't forget the rust treatment on the inside of that lid.

Had the deck lid blasted, it's horrible. I cannot find one locally.
Anyone know of a company that makes a deck lid skin? I know AMD doesn't, but damn, someone should!
I saw one on Chicago's Craigslist for $400...that's not going to happen.

Doors are blasted and looking great...not a spot of rust!
About a week or so and it's time to put her together. The garage is getting pretty full!

AMD doesn't have a deck lid? I'm surprised.

I talked to a guy from Adeals (an AMD distributor) and he said that they're working on it, and should have one soon. Not soon enough for me though...

The one I have the rust is only in the lip, but I'm afraid that between cost $125. shipping and repair you could find something out your way for less. The pics don't show it but the silver paint on the bottom lip shows some blisters.
