How can I tell if I have a 25/26 spline or a 29/30 spline? I'm having to replace my drive shaft yoke. The internal teeth have too much surface rust and don't want to use it.

If your talking input shaft its 18 or 23 just count the splines

He's talking about the driveshaft yoke. There are two splines. The larger one interchanges with the 727 and the smaller with the 904.

But yea... it's probably the larger.

Measure the diameter of the yoke where it slips into the trans. 1.687" is the larger 30 spline and 1.558" is the smaller 26 spline.

I thought only A body transmissions had the 26 spline.
