Air Grabber

I've researched several.threads about the air grabber air cleaner and N96 but haven't found my answer.

I have the 440 base air grabber air cleaner. I have a street dominator intake and eldebrock 650 carb. Air cleaner of any kind is too tall.

If I install a stock intake withe the eldebock carb will it fit under the hood?

Can I change the carb for fit?

Yes I’m after the base plate for the 426 with twin 5 1/8 openings would love to buy one but ive tried shakerhood I’ve rung for 4 straight days answering machine and emailed and eBay message

Had to cut the base on my air grabber down due to Edelbrock mid rise in take.Had to due the same with conventual round filter also. Took a good three quarter inch off my new air grabber filter base. Start out with a little at a time. Too much may interfere with throttle linkage. Good luck.Russ.
