why is my fender tag coded for drip rails molding ? M21 is M21 a code for anything else ?

on a convertible top ?

how about your car needed a new front fender and they swapped it out with that tag on it????? :huh:

I'm curious now myself, I have heard of fender tags being made with mistakes on them and M21 had to be a pretty common code to put on tags that maybe someone was in "auto-pilot" mode and automatically put it on without catching the fact it was a "27" convertible, I'll look at my 69 ragtop on the way out today and see if I have a M21 on mine and post my findings later today.

My 69 only has the M31, top door edge mouldings, it has to be an error from when they stamped the tag, but now if you ever correctly restore that car you will have to put them on and leave the top down. :jester:

Checked mine it also just has the M31 code.
