Does anybody know with shop line PPG Apoxy primer gray JP375 can you use a JR506 as a reducer? it's for a 2K primer. I just wondered if you could use that reducer because they don't make a reducer for the Apoxy primer. they say to use acetone which I don't like to use. I just wondered if you could use the other reducer 506. Thanks guys.

If it say's to use acetone then I would use it. With matrix epoxy I use the same thinner as used with the base coat. Had to go one to one or the stuff sprayed out to thick left a rough finish. One time it looked like a wrinkle finish. Not good. With the acrylic paint I used on the truck cab used the acetone to reduce it. Now hope this will help ya. :thumbsup2:
