Anybody put in their car? I have fuel "boiling" issues. Having air grabber can't run a spacer. Buddy uses AV gas and no issues.

What say ye?
 
i run av gas all the time the 451 loves it and you can ru more timing try 34 total all in at 3000 i put 5 to 7 gallon then top off with boat fuel so you come around 95 oct,
 
i get mine at a wawa the pump is marked as AV LL 100 the ll stands for low lead so 906 stock heads will live with out lead additive just to let everyone know.

I use 100LL in another vehicle and is great fuel. Just like the old days. Shelf life of at least 6+ years and no ethanol. I buy it at a local Heliport for about double what pump gas is and isn't bad. They won't fill the car but will fuel tanks. Racing fuel is more like four times the cost of pump gas.
 
When I was racing in the stone ages with my '68 Road Runner 383 four speed, I tried av gas but it was 140 octane. I used it one Sunday at the races and the car acted like it was towing a boat anchor. I drained it out when I got home and never tried it again. I will bet the 100LL will work if it is 100 octane. If I have any problems once I get my '70 Road Runner finished, I will try it.
 
I run a 50/50 mix of 110 and rec fuel, it’s the perfect mix for my car. And I get both right up at the corner gas station.
 
I does have a drying agent in it so make sure you blend it with something. Friend of mine used it 100% no mix and it took all the fuel lines out in about a year.
 
I find it flashes faster and burns more complete. Almost better to have a slower more controlled burn. It Made my jet ski lean to the point of lean seizing. Shut it down, let it cool down, put pre-mixed (2 stroke engine) regular unleaded back in and no problems…. You Have to jet for it too if you want to use avgas.
 
I too run a 50/50 mix of 100LL and rec fuel. No issues and Bambi loves it. Buddy of mine lives in one of those subdivisions with a tiny private use airport. I have him fill my gas cans at their little fueling station and get his resident's discount on the fuel.
