At the local car show today there were 207 cars including some great mopars, including this incredible '69. In my excitement I forgot to look at the tag and see if this is a RR, but incredible car none the less. 440 6bbl, aluminum radiator, MSD goodies, Chrome everything even the leaf spring hangers, custom interior and trunk. It was very nice in my book.

Nicely done, but unusual. Shaved door handles but left the side markers on. The dash looks a little plain, but I would drive the heck out of.

I agree with you guys. It looks like a job well done, but not my cup of tea.

There is allot of nice work in it, but again the dash and wheels are not my kind of thing.

A few of the other stand outs in my book...

1970 Challenger with SRT8 motor and interior. Body seams were filled in.

Now this truck didn't have very straight body lines, but wha it did have is an Olds 455 mounted in the bed...

Some nice rides, a rear engine truck  The guy with the VW micro bus will probably be repainting it after the one at Barrett Jackson sold for $195,000. yesterday

thanks for sharing, looks like a good show. I agree, I don'r care for the modern interior, or the wheels on the road runner. And isn't that '70 Challenger a 'cuda? Challengers had quad headlights, and I think I see a split grill.and a definate no on the donk wheels, but it's his car.

Now that 70 Bee is more like it  As for the black Cuda looking at the wheels  it's either owned by Chip Foose or a guy with his undercrackers sticking out the top of his pants.

That bus is owned by my friend's father. He is a VW guru. Until about 3 years ago it was all stock, then he retired. He also has a Karmann Ghia and a super beetle with porsche goodies that will whip up an many a V8 muscle car.

and of course you guys are right about the 'cuda. I know I looked at the tag, then changed my mind when I seen all the SRT8 timmings. When I see these cars, even though they are highly modified I see someone's labor of love. Chip Foose makes some stunning cars and loves what he does, but he builds them for people. These cars are usually built by their owner how they want. From stock to wild, they are all works of art with their own challenges in my book. Can you imagine what a pain it was to shoehorn that challenger dash and 6.2 hemi in that 'cuda? I am also sure many of you know all to well what a pain it is to track down original and NOS parts for your classics. Luckily the RR is pretty popular, and quality aftermarket support is available. Especially now with the internet.

Touchdown for Team Green!!!!

MT, none of us here don't appreciate all the hard work and $$ that go into these cars. we all have our own tastes. I'm a day two Cragars, rear jacked up Green guy. But I like the doggie dish stockers too.
