Basic brake question

Do I rotate the star wheel up or down in order to back off the brake shoes? Can't remember from last time I did it.

try it up and if the brake tightens up then you have to go down....that was simple

I can't tell you which way but it is different on each side.

isn't it usually right hand threads on the passenger side and lefthand threads on the drivers side. :cents:
