Got the broadcast sheet out of my '69 RR. Seems a bit brittle so afraid to flatten it. What tricks are there to flatten these? I plan to put into a plastic sleeve once I get it flat. Thanks.

Wife was boiling some eggs tonight, so perfect opportunity to steam the sheet. Softened up nicely. It is between two sheets of wax paper and under some heavy books. Will check it in a couple of days. Thanks.

Flattened result. Steaming made the paper much more flexible. The wax paper was good that I put on top of it before books as it was clear enough to allow smoothing out before putting weight on.

I always just used a misting spray-bottle to dampen them. Never had an issue. A great way to unstick them from the car, also. Just be patient.
