Hello my name is Barry. I live in Tennessee and am in the process of restoring my 1968 roadrunner 2 door hardtop. It is a factory 383 automatic with a 8 3/4 with 3.55 gears. Missing engine and transmission. I am planning on putting a 440 with a 727 with possible overdrive by gear vendors

Welcome, I will follow your progress........Anxious to hear about the gear vendors overdrive. I am running a 440/727 with 3.91 gears and curious as to how well it performs.

Welcome aboard...from a fellow Tennessean. Do you already have your 440 engine picked out? There are 440 crate engines available. Just a thought.
