Any thoughts as to what I should expect to pay to replace the crank seal.

Oil leaks more than I would like probably need to replace the Oil pan seal, value cover seal, and the crank seal.

Not sure I do my own but, if the crank has the old Knurling on it use a rope seal. If the Knurling is gone go ahead and use the Neoprene seal. I have followed this rule on the last 6 builds without a leak but I found out the hard way.

Are you looking to do this in car, or is the engine coming out for some reason?

I would have to wonder why all of those seals and gaskets are failing. I would do a compression check. I bet that you have a lot of blowby that is pressurizing the crankcase. Also check your PCV valve.
