Called a dash cap I believe. But no I haven't
I've had one on my 69 for years with no problems.

I have used them. Make sure you clean the surfaces scuff the underside of the cap and top of existing dash with 180 sand paper. Use good amount of adhesive lightly clamp or wrap with painters tape to hold in place until cured
