Think I have everything for the 69 dash except for a new pad. All I see are black pads. How does one dye these blue?

There is a local guy that sell recovered pads that are done by a friend in Kingman. I bought two of them in black and are of good quality, let e see if he does them in colors

There are blue pads available. Mine was produced by Legendary Interiors. I ended up buying it through Classic Industries rather than directly from Legendary because I got a better deal by waiting for C.I. to have a big sale. It was in stock and shipped right away. Nice quality and made on a steel core like the originals.

The pads that Bob @ ABCMoparts is doing is the best that we have dealt with. They are factory pads that have been reconditioned. The grain pattern is not 100% correct, but most people will never know the difference. The big advantage with his pads are that they are the correct length. Several of the vendors are selling pads which are too short and you end up with a noticeable gap where it meets up to the A-Pillar trim. He can also dye the pads to the correct colors depending upon the year model and body style.

Beware of the fiberglass foam injected mold with the vinyl over it. I bought one off line and asked if it had the metal core they said yes. After getting it look's good but for the fact it dose not have a metal core. Will use it till it goes bad or will hunt one up later. Hope it is not short like some people say they have found out. Just what I ran into. :(
