I think I got it, but your 17 17 I believe is T7 T7. Roadrunner 2dr/ht 4 spd 383 4bbl Air grabber Saddle bronze roof, body and upper doors. Just a start

Thats what I thought. Someones trying to sell me this combination as a true roadrunner.

You must have written this down out of sequence or this is absolutely the goofiest Lynch Road tag ever.

03155 143503 - gate, base, & sequence #
9A144166 - 1969 Lynch Road Assembly Plant and serial #
925 595 603 - 925 = 383 4BBL, manual transmission, heater, 335hp, Orange, 595 = 3.23 s/g, 8 3/4, 11" rear & front drums, 603 = 833 4-speed Manual, 383-4BBL engine, (23 spline)
1W N96 - maybe "V1W"??? - white vinyl roof, air grabber
17 17 H2T T7 - "T7" =Burnished Bronze Metallic, H2T = Trim - High, Vinyl Bench Seat, Tan
RM 23 E63 D21 A10 - RR 2 door hardtop, 383, A833, built October 10th
143532 - vehicle order #

I didn't actually see the tag. It was written down and sent to me by email.

The bronze paint and white vinyl roof match the vehicle.

It is a 383 4bbl, air grabber.

The guy that is trying to sell you the car definitely didn't transcribe the info line by line, I can tell you that much. LR tags are unique animals, but they usually follow their own odd script: gate, base & sequence info which none of the other plants used, very few of the options codes are listed, and the basic serial #, order #, and build date info are always there.

Seems odd with the"K" police code in the VIN...which is conspicuously absent in the fender tag info... Unless he's practically giving it away I'd say pass... :yesnod: :cents: :yesnod:

No he's asking 12K, it sounds bogus to me thats why I came to you expert guys. Thanks for the help.
