The drip edge chrome on my 69 RR is going on very loose , It is reproduction stuff , the front piece I tap the inner edge very easy and it seems to help I do not want to put any glue on it but I might have to , it will never come off again as long as I own the car ,

Thanks Tom C.

There are different trim for vinyl top cars and non v top cars. They tried to make one size fits all with the reproductions. You will most likely have to glue it on or try to make it smaller in that area. Very risky as you could distroy the piece very easily. Let us know how it works out.

I did some very light taping with a rubber hammer and was very careful. Was better but still loose and rattles will try some very thin two way tape and may be some glue, Will post results and some picture !!
