I am curious to know if an older 2x4 Mopar manifold 1827899-7 made in 1957 would fit a later model 383. My 383 is dated 1967- Block # 24681307 LL

RB 383 was only in '59 - '60...and came only w/ a 2bbl or single 4bbl...and only in Chryslers.

Casting #1827899 was used from '58 - '62 on 350 & 383 B's. Galen's little books are good for something... LOL

As I understand the replies my 67 Block being a B series block would fit the 1957 dual quad manifold as the manifold would not have been designed to fit the RB raised block 58-62 years, it this a correct statement?

Essentially yes. Bob (inadvertently) clouded the issue with the 383RB commentary. The back story is that when one of Trenton's engine lines geared up to support 413RB production they impacted 383B production. To combat this they created an oddballl 383RB which only appeared for two years and only supported US-built Chrysler Windsors and Saratogas.

BTW - that is a 1958 or later intake. It just has a '57 casting date.
