Thanks 69 . Wanted to do this for about 13 year.
Did not have the balls until now.
Had to make room in the inner fenders anyway.
Stage -V valve covers where hitting them on right side.

I put mine in threw the bottom like the factory did and with stock covers I had about a 1/4 inch or so on each side as I dropped the body over the hemi so I'm sure yours is snug. I'd convert 1/4" to metric but I'm lazy today LOL

I had 1/4 of a inch room between valve cover and the bulge on the shock tower.
That is until I drove the car and the paint from innerfender was on the valve cover.
Even with the Schumacher spool mounts.

No George : Solid roller cam designed by Rich Nedbal.

ok......here is the question.....what did you set the valve lash to.....mine is 22 intake and 24 exhaust.....HOT......i called tim banning from forhemisonly and he said as a starting point set the intake at .006 and the exhaust at .008.....this will get me close..get hemi to operating temp and set valve lash at recommended hot setting which it stats on cam card..the reason i didnt drop in my hemi in is i cant get the valve covers off quick enough to check the lash hot......i think you will run into the same thing Dutch

Hi Bruce.
It's in without pushrods.
Has been checked for lenght and will be in when all is ready for start-up.
The guy that build the engine will do hotlash.
I can get a cover off under 90 seconds.
That's why i made this change to the innerfender.
The valvelash(cold) are from Rich Nedball.
I have his designed cam inside.
I just have to loosen the valvecover bouts and 4 spark plugs/wires and can pull everything staight of in 1 motion.
