Re: F&B 6BBL TPI XFI 2.0 on 572Hemi with StageV heads and Mo

It only looks close due to angle of photo.
In reality it's 8 inches away from header.

The system compleet (Intake,dualsync distributor,injectors,fuelrail,XFI,harness,fuellines,regulator,couplers,returnline,sensors,etc.) $5600.

But this is 1 of few systems that can handle the 572's thirst and is sequential.
And it's a Six-pack/6BBL with 1980cfm total.

Re: F&B 6BBL TPI XFI 2.0 on 572Hemi with StageV heads and Mo

Finally managed to put the fuel pressure regulator in a nice/handy spot.
Enginebay keep getting smaller.
Return is now also ready.

[attachment=0:1r1cnb4j]Regulator installed.jpg[/attachment:1r1cnb4j]

Still have to connect fuelpumps to power/relais.
Run the shiftercable and make brackets to fix moved centre console and mount Turboaction shifter.
Put O2 bung in collectorflange and mount 3'TTI with DynomaxVT's.
Place the homemade slide-a-link in place.
Mount and connect all gauges(fuelpressure,oil press/temp,water temp,transtemp,).
Mount trans/engine oil cooler.
Run the pos/neg cable for XFI from batt to ECU.
Bleed brackes.
Etc.
Etc.
Etc.

So just some hours to spend before the F&B birdfeeder can start feeding that elephant.

They are Ansen Sprint (AR).
The Ted Struse car had Fenton's but where no longer made.
Later there where the Wolf race wheels.

Like the wheel. Don't want to spend money on other rims.
Will keep the money for other changes on wishlist (TCL 6X/stronger rearaxle/overdrive behind CRT-4).

I hear you George.
Hope your wrong.
Otherwise I have some extra work to do.
Problem is still where to put al the stuf.
Not much other places to put is.
Will make some heatshields and extra insulation to prevent heat build-up.

my fuel filter and fuel pump is where my gas tank used to be......20 gallon fuel cell inside trunk
fuel regulator is just behind thermostat housing.....cool air blowing on it from fan

so if it doesnt work out kept this in mind....Dutch

Re: F&B 6BBL TPI XFI 2.0 on 572Hemi with StageV heads and Mo

Already ordered Stuart ?

Give Bruce my greetings.
Will have 2 weeks holiday in January and then i'll do all the wiring.
Still have to place oil/trans cooler and run the hoses.
Then the work is almost ready for start-up tries.

George : I still have the stgock tank.
Looked at placing the filter and regulator in inner fender but routing the fuel line to there wasn't an option.
The efi guy also thinks that cruising will not be a problem for temp/fuel lines.

Will make heat shields and see where it ends.

Update about W.I.P.
Fuel line including hoses , regulator and return-line is now 100% ready.
So birdfeeder is ready to supply.
Brakes are bleeded.
Will start with relais tommorow.
2 for each fan and 1 to get a switched positive rail from the may 12V.
Sheetaah shifter will be mounted tomorrow also including the correct translever and new cable.
Then have to make brackets for new console location.
Drill and weld wideband sensor's bung in right collector.

Also have these cometic valvecover gaskets , so the cork gaskets will we gone.
Run and connect the netralswitch to CRT-4 trans.
New aircleaner base is almost ready and then in 3-4 weeks the fun can start.

Re: F&B 6BBL TPI XFI 2.0 on 572Hemi with StageV heads and Mo

New update.

Temperature is slowing work down.
My garage is not heated and 20-30 Fahrenheit is a bit nippy to work in.

Still about 10 item to do.

Console almost placed back.
Map and O2 sensor still to be mounted/ connected.
Have to connect the trans cooler(electric) and make brackets.
After coolers(engine and trans) are in then the radiator.
Mount temp sensors in lines (engine and trans).
Mount driveshaft loop.
Still have to run the relais for fans from ECU to Fans.
Place relay for switched + power leads.
Put all gauges(oil temp , oil press , water temp , voltage , trans temp ) in nice brackets.
Run/shorten some last wiring from ECU XFI.

Finish is in sight.
But plans for dyno in February/March will not be reached.
More like March/April.

Re: F&B 6BBL TPI XFI 2.0 on 572Hemi with StageV heads and Mo

ECU only needs 1 AFR.
Was thinking of putting also bung in DS exhaust so I can switch during drives.
Not sure do.

Yep George . End is comming nearer.

Also thinking about a fun decal to put on aircleaner.
Don't want the first though I had.
The standard 572 hemi head 572 decal or the 572hemi decal.

Was thinking of somethink like 572 dick head? :yesnod:

Nice George , but don't want anyone knowing on the outside whats lurking beneath.
Maybe they think it's a B/RB or something.
