Hello, My 1969 Roadrunner came with the factory 4 piston front disc brakes. System is pretty much complete minus the rotors. Has anyone found a way to mainly keep it stock without having to replace the spindles? Not necessarily looking for the cheapest brakes but not really interested in a high end setup. I really dig that it came out with factory 4 piston calipers and the system works just fine. I just would like to find a way to make them work. Seems the previous owner bought some later model rotors and just ground them down to fit in the slot but that's what actually caught my eye on the brakes. The rotors were so thin! Has anyone found some suitable replacement rotors or does anyone know of a kit that works without having to replace the spindles or any kit that does replace the spindle but has a similar style 4 piston caliper. I have seen the LEED and Kanter kits but those are for drum to disc conversion. On a side note I went ahead and ordered that very kit for my 1970 Barracuda since I need one anyway and I am going to check to see if I can make it work on the roadrunner. Curious if the rotor will clear, it seems the correct thickness (.812) and or maybe make my own adaptor plate and use their caliper as well. Sorry for the ramble, any guidance is much appreciated. I have also been offered n.o.s. rotors and hubs but not sure I am willing to spend the money on that option just yet. I want to be sure I have explored all options first.

Wheel wood brakes on mine up front and drum on the back. It works really well. No spindle replacement. Did this because the car was hard to stop with drums up front. Don't remember what year they started with that combo. Have fun brother.
