Just a heads up, I spent all weekend installing a shroud on an aftermarket 26" aluminum radiator. I used a 1970 thru 1974 E-body PN# 2998326 shroud and it fits OK with some minor massaging at the bottom, seems to make a difference when at idle. The shroud mounting holes on the radiator are an exact match for the shroud mounting. You won't be able to use the stock speed nuts, so you'll have to roll your own on that.

The shroud dimensions are:
Overall width: 27"
Overall height (at center): 20.75"
Overall height (at corners): 17.75"
Fan hole dia.: 20.25"
Bolt centers, V: 12:, H: 25.75"
Thickness (tapered): 2" to 3"

I changed out a Rube Goldberg fuel system also. I got rid of a no name mechanical pump, eddy 750, no-name regulator and bypassed a disconnected electric fuel pump (why, I don't know, but it's history now) and a few miles of rubber fuel line. I replaced all that stuff with a eddy 6psi mech pump, eddy 800 AVS, and eddy filter. Here's a heads up: I tried to use the eddy dual feed set up but it won't fit a Weiand intake, hits the coil mounting boss. Too bad but no banana for my application. I was able to use the eddy filter & eddy -6AN fuel line with the help of a handful of -6AN fittings. Came out pretty nice and with the air grabber air cleaner in place the anodized fittings and filter are hidden from view for a stock look. I also changed out the Taiwan made chrome alternator bracket kit with a black powder coated set - looks much cleaner.

The AVS made a BIG difference and was a snap to tune.

sounds like a much cleaner look. simpler is also better when something goes wrong and it is time to troubleshoot. please post a couple pics ( we're all addicted to this stuff) in case someone else can use them for inspiration for their project. ( but really it's just for the car porn pics) :groucho:
