Have 70 RR with what I believe is the original fender tag. This car is not #’s matching but that’s ok! It’s a driver. The vin# on the dash and core support are the same. There is a mark or stamping on the fender tag that I hope someone can figure out. It looks like a H on its side.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

I believe it is an assembly line inspectors stamp, not sure what it is specifically for though.

Does anybody know what the two stampings are for in the upper right corner? Mine has what appears to be a "1" and a "0". My punch out is like a backwards C.

I would venture a guess that the large stamp is the final inspection stamp meaning it’s good to go for sale or order delivery. The smaller stamps are for other specific inspections such as final paint, final assembly, interior, and other sub sections.
