My front planets decided they had enough.

These are only the 3 pinion from A&A though and I went with the 5 planet gear this time and an upgrade in RMVB to a low band apply.
 
musta been used to much when new.....
well at least now you can have it rebuilt and now it will be good to go.
 
I had the A&A billet drum and planets put in in 2008 but it looks like I should have gone with more planets to begin with.I went with a whole new trans from another builder and did some upgrades.
 
thats who built my tranny back in 08......beat it up and got 5 years out of it.....have a local tranny buddy rebuild it in my area......got all the parts from aatrans.com which is where cope gets his stuff......should be a great tranny....stage 6....wow
 
My clutches and bands were doing good and I just got the Coan super sprag in and then this,The next weakest link I guess.I hope to go 8.90 +/- at 3900#.
 
I got the new trans in today after getting the converter yesterday,Thank goodness for the engine tilter!

Metal,

Is the 3900# weight just of your car, or does it include you in it? Is gas included as well?
