What is a good fuel filter and where is the best place to install it? Before or after fuel pump?

the fuel filter is near the fuel pump look in the factory manual it has a diagram.

Mechanical fuel pump should never pull thru a filter so between the pump and carb

Sorry took so long to respond. Between carb and fuel pump.

Mine is just after fuel pump. Some have them just before the carb. Would look into the manual.
