George,

You said six-speed 727? How many speeds in the overdrive unit?

Jack

3 forward speed with the overdrive off...3 forward speeds with the overdrive on...that would be six available forward speeds...

AZ Desert,
George. I had a U.S. Gear in a motor home some time back and it used an electric motor to shift up and down. Is that what yours has? It had straight cut gears so you had to let off the gas to relax the drive train to get a smooth shift. It worked good
