Hello,

I want to get true my american dream car since I am 14 years old. Know I am 39 years old, living in Germany and I am looking for a 68/69 Road Runner.
I will be next week in New York specially to have a look by my own on 5 different Runners. I hope one of them is in a very good condition so that I can buy it and ship it to Germany.
All of them are in or near NY. I got 2-3 days (wednesday-friday) to find a good Runner. If someone can offer me a good Runner near NY I will be very happy if I got one or two more to choice.
I am interessted only in Runners in blue and it should be a 4-speed (, but please offer my also automatics if the consition is very good). The condition should be original and very good, restaurated cars and still in org.condition cars. Matching numbers would be nice but there is no must be. My budget is up arround 30k.
Please give me a message if you can offer me a good Runner or if you know somebody who want to sell a good Runner. I would be also very happy if somebody can help me with the rating of the different Runners, maybe someone has some time and fun to watch and drive Runners.

In Germany I got already a Old Ride, please let me introduce my 1972 Mercedes Benz W114:

Here are a few places you can check out Armin. They may not all be in the New York area or your price range but I included them so you can see what they are going for. The first one is in Connecticut and would be around a 2 hour drive. The next three are in the New York area. The last one meets all your requirements but is in a town in the southern part of the country but I thought I'd include it anyways. I would imagine that there are more cars then this available but you would have to check the local ads to find them. I hope this helps and good luck in your search.

Thank you all very much.

What do you think, is it better to get a unrestorated car in a good original condition with some patina or better a complete restaurated car?

@Steve: Your Runner also look very nice!
The last one checked a friend of mine weeks ago, wasn´t so perfect like it looks on the pictures.
No.3: Yeeees, I will check it! :chuck:

@69hemibeep: Your car looks like, what I am looking for, very nice!

If you can find a car that nice for $30K then go ahead and buy two of them; I'll take the other one and give you a $5K finder's fee...

Thank you. The blue 68 or #3 that Steve listed looks pretty nice, maybe it's the color :yesnod:

And if I am, well I kept my promise not to jump posts for at least 10-12 posts
I've noticed quite a few "Ray"diant pictures as of late
