That car was local to me and I've seen it on several occasions. It is a well done car and is complete with all the EPA testing gear including the gathering tubes in the front to the sensors that were placed in the trunk. It came to one of our club's Mopar shows a few years back but I haven't seen it since so I don't know if it's still in CT or not.

It was at Carlisle a couple of years ago so I think most of us have seen it.

Extremely ironic that a car born at the height of the musclecar wars ended up being used to secure the proverbial last nail in their coffin...

its very cool in that Ray Nichols Nascar legend built the car , but the guy is just nuts if he thinks it will bring anywhere near that figure . I dont see it bring anymore then any other superbird . Maybe a hair more to the right Nichols fan .

Maybe the Rich saudi oil baron will buy it

I love cars,I love Roadrunners,but I can think of other things I'd rather spend 500 grand on :eek:
 
Is the 69 Charger 500 that Mechanix Illustrated converted to propane still around anywhere?
