From the center of hood 5 3/4 inch's total 11 1/2 inch's and 2 3/4 inch's on to fenders that what I have on one set of directions The second set says from center of hood 5 5/8 inch's with a total of11 1/4 inch's abd 2 3/4 on to the finders .

There's something about 21, 14, 18 (or some number) cowl openings on each side of the center????? Anyway it's an equal number of cowl openings on each stripe when it's correctly laid out. That's all I know and I don't even know that for sure :witless:

I went and counted the cowl vent slots and there's a total of 72 of them. 28 vent slots in the center of body color and 22 vent slots on either side of the center body color.

I didn't get a chance to see if 11-1/2" or 11-1/4" lines up with an edge of a vent slot where the organosol starts but I would guess that should maybe give it away as to the actual spec.
