hood hinges

a buddy has a '71 runner. needs hood hinges, and hasn't had any luck finding any good used ones. He found a place tht makes new E Body hinges. Does anyone know if they would work on a '71 B Body?

Just checked my interchange manual and it looks like no... only other 71-74 B body hinges will work
